As Niantics, we strive to create an environment where each person can be the very best version of themselves. We know that this is only possible when we celebrate openness, value constructive dialog, and foster a culture that thrives on curiosity, and encourages creativity and innovation. We are the best versions of ourselves when we learn from, respect, and empower one another.
ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups that unite around a common affinity, experience, and/or interests to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace. Adventuring together means all of us!
Join our diversity and inclusion events
As Niantics, we saw a need to increase the pipeline of women and underrepresented in software engineering, so we eagerly developed a program to address the issue. The Voyager program, created in partnership with Engineering and Tech Elevator…provides 20 selected students (referred to as Voyager Explorers) with an opportunity to learn coding in Tech Elevator’s 14-week program. Top students from the 14-week training will be selected to become Apprentices. Voyager Apprentices will receive a 6-month (paid) opportunity to work in frontend web development. A select number of Apprentices will be extended a full-time, permanent offer to join Niantic’s engineering team. Those who are not invited to join Niantic as either Apprentices or for a full-time position will receive coaching and potential employment opportunities from Tech Elevator’s 700+ partners.
